At The Daily Tar Heel, I use design and illustration to help translate reporting and opinion into compelling visual stories. My work includes original graphics created to accompany written pieces as well as editorial cartoons that offer their own perspective on campus and national issues. Across both formats, I aim to create visuals that catch readers’ attention, clarify the subject and add something meaningful to the conversation.
